Falcon Fraud Prevention
he phrase
“Time is of the essence” is used quite frequently today. Nowhere is it more important than in working potentially fraudulent accounts identified
by your FALCON fraud detection system. The question of which accounts should
be worked first, leads to long sometimes heated discussions. Should it be the
980+ scores because they present the greatest risk or the 700 scored accounts because they stop the most fraud? Part of the discussion is usually that some accounts never score in the 700 range. They start at 800+ and as they run they never do appear in the 980+ queue.
This is because of the delta set to only present accounts that score 25-50 points more than the last score.
This
is complicated and there is no real consensus of what is the best strategy. At
BFS Consulting Inc. we have developed a method to help you answer this question in your operation. You can develop a staffing plan to work all accounts as soon as they enter the 700+ scoring range. This plan indicates when your staff should be scheduled and how much money you would
have saved if you had followed this strategy in the past.
